Zach and Becca had an absolutely amazing wedding at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Pinckney, MI. We had some fantastic weather and a stunning backdrop of the golf course as they said their vows for each other. We got to explore the course with a caravan of golf carts and, after sending the bridal party back to the reception, only managed to get lost once - thanks to my navigating expertise.

But a marriage doesn’t come together in just one day. Instead it’s a culmination of days, weeks, months, and years growing together that results in this special occasion. Zach and Becca met when they were just 16 years old and were working at McDonald’s together. For both of them, it was their first job and just the start of a story they will tell the rest of their lives.

Their proposal took place in Northern Michigan on Drummond Island. While Becca searched for fossils along Fossils Ledge Beach (fitting name), I can only imagine what was going through Zach’s mind. He pulled Becca’s Aunt aside and let her know his intentions so she could get video of the big moment. Personal experience and testimony given to me by many grooms tells me that may or may not remember what happened next. The proposal blackout seems to be trend with guys!

What is important is that he asked and she said yes!

Zach and Becca have been grow together in so many ways. From starting their relationship at 16 to marriage and managing their zoo (3 cats and 2 dogs!) in between, it’s clear that nothing is going to slow these two down.
