Northern Michigan Wedding

What happens when you want to get married on the beach, have photos taken in the woods, and then a reception at your family cabin? You get married in Northern Michigan, obviously.

That is exactly what Caleb and Heather! Covid forced them to pivot their plans but I can’t imagine a day that was any more perfect for the two of them. We started the day by soaking in all of the “up-north cabin” vibes with a indescribable rustic backdrop. Then we headed to the beach where Caleb and Heather had a first-look out on one of the docks. We took a 3 minute drive to a nearby bridge which was quintessential Michigan. Dunes in the background and towering trees on either side of the road made it feel like Caleb and Heather were the last two people on Earth. A beautiful and windy ceremony later and we were able to party the night away in an intimate family reception! A monsoon of rain may have hit shortly after the first dances but the change in weather certainly didn’t bring anyone down!
