Maybury State Park, Northville, MI

Holy heck were these two up for an adventure. I’ve shot at Maybury State Park before but only on the side by the mountain biking trails, never coming in off of Beck Rd by the horse stables. So when we entered the trails, there really was no way any of us could have known what we were getting into. Brandon and Krystal buckled down and we ended up walking all the way around the pond while finding some amazing spots to stop for photos. In reality, it was probably only like a mile around but it definitely felt like a lot longer! At one point, I laid down on the trail to get some shots of Krystal’s ring sitting on a little pumpkin (please reference below) and a young child with their family got VERY concerned that I fell and no one was helping me get up.

These two were amazing to explore a new location with and I could not be happier that I had the honor of capturing their love for each other!
